NET4GAS: The 2024 Annual Report and Sustainability Report Confirms the Company's Stability and Commitment to Carbon Neutrality
Prague, 30 April 2025 – NET4GAS announces the release of its 2024 Annual Report, which confirms that the company has been stabilized after its successful acquisition and has generated a profit. At the same time, NET4GAS publishes the 2024 Sustainability Report, which underscores its commitment to building a reliable and sustainable energy system for future generations.
The Annual Report presents the successful completion of the company's acquisition by ČEPS at the end of 2023, the fact that NET4GAS earned a profit in 2024 after recording a loss in 2023, and the fact that the company's Fitch rating has been upgraded. All of these changes indicate an improved outlook and growing trust in NET4GAS's future.
The Annual Report includes the NET4GAS Group Sustainability Report, which transparently maps the environmental, social, and governance aspects of the Group's business operations in the context of the European energy transformation and progress toward climate neutrality.
"We are prepared to play a key role in the transition to a carbon-neutral economy and to ensure reliable and sustainable transmission services for future generations. We have undertaken the commitment to reduce fugitive and vented methane emissions by 20% by the year 2030, to adapt our network to a 2% hydrogen blend by the year 2026, and to take an active part in building Europe's hydrogen infrastructure," says NET4GAS's Managing Director and CEO Michal Slabý.
In addition, the Sustainability Report also emphasizes workforce development, increased transparency, and improved risk management as key aspects of the Group's path toward sustainability, all in conformity to the requirements of the CSRD directive and ESRS standards.
NET4GAS invites all stakeholders to read both reports, which are available in the Financial Reports section of the NET4GAS website. Enclosures contain infographics summarizing the most important aspects of the ESG strategy as well as the year 2024 in facts and figures.
