NET4GAS Closer to Nature

We are a reliable, efficient and safe transmission system operator, developing responsible environmental policy committed to future generations. Our business is closely related to nature and environment protection. Having this on our mind, we develop our sponsorship strategy carried out within the NET4GAS Closer to Nature program. We are a general partner to the Czech Union for Nature Conservation (ČSOP) and the civic association DAPHNE ČR – Institut aplikované ekologie, and support further organizations.

NET4GAS - General Partner to ČSOP

We are historically the first general partner to the Czech Union for Nature Conservation (ČSOP). Our common project, which was launched in 2007, aims to present unique Czech natural locations to the public and raise the interest for their protection, mainly on the regional level. Every year, local inhabitants as well as other visitors can thanks to our cooperation observe five to ten new so far inaccessible or badly accessible valuable natural areas. Moreover, our goal is to raise safety and ease orientation in the locations by building new nature trails and information systems. NET4GAS – General Partner to Revitalization of Peat-bogs in Ore Mountains

The goal of the project of Revitalization of peat-bogs in the Ore Mountains, which we have been carrying out together with DAPHNE ČR – Institut aplikované ekologie since 2009, is revegetation of original ecosystems of peat-bogs – the key element of the Ore Mountains countryside. The region was negatively affected in the past, mainly due to the industry as well as planting. Thanks to elimination of drain systems, the region will be reinhabited by bogs and small bushes and the new environment will at the same time significantly improve the condition of the biotope of rare animals, e.g. the black grouse, which is today becoming extinct. NET4GAS Closer to Knowledge

We focus on operational excellence exercised by highly qualified and educated staff. Sustainable development, which represents one of our main priorities, cannot do without high-quality education and research & development. Therefore also this area represents a key part of our sponsorship strategy, carried out within the program of NET4GAS Closer to Knowledge.

NET4GAS Closer to Regions

We secure operation and further development of the Czech gas transmission system, running through almost all regions of the Czech Republic. As a good neighbor, we regard our contribution to the development of the regions of our territorial scope our duty. Within the NET4GAS Closer to Regions program, we support the infrastructure and employment development.
