Asset Maintenance & Project Support

The Asset Maintenance & Project Support unit comprises the following departments: Technical Activities Department, Project Management Department, Service Administration, and Maintenance Centers Bohemia and Moravia. The unit coordinates technical activities (engineering, technology, technical support, technical inspection), provides technical support and solves technical problems related to operation and maintenance.

The unit is also responsible for ensuring the entire implementation of investments and selected operational projects from the design stage to release into operation (this includes the provision of design documentation, public negotiations and approvals for zoning permits, building permits, construction declarations including negotiations under private law, particularly in assuring land usage rights). Additionally, it ensures the necessary supporting documents are provided for tenders by contractors responsible for individual activities, such as design, construction, independent inspections, etc. The Asset Maintenance & Project Support unit cooperates in the contractual assurance of both external and internal partners, and monitors and checks compliance with the project budget and schedule. It prepares supporting documents for the release of completed investments projects into tangible assets and for the technical-financial evaluation of completed projects.

The Asset Maintenance & Project Support unit coordinates and manages activities relating to control system technologies (e. g. regular preventive maintenance of safety equipment and station batteries), and maintains and repairs both turbine sets and the technical equipment related to compressor stations. The unit also maintains the telemetry system, checks parameters, and supervises the technical condition of telemetry components for the gas transmission system. Special teams ensures the reliable operation of the gas pipeline by maintaining and repairing dedicated equipment for the entire transmission system, i.e. border and national transfer stations, compressor stations, and line sections.
